The exponential growth of scientific knowledge in the veterinary field, in recent decades, has had consequences on initial training. It is not possible, in a few years, to fully cover all the topics related to animal production and health. Faced with increasing labour market demands for skills, or to further knowledge of areas of interest, more and more young graduates as well as working professionals are now seeking specialising training.
The guide available here for download identifies a number of courses, mostly level 2 masters, open to graduate veterinarians. Some are offered by EISMV (and are detailed on this site), others are offered by schools or faculties in Europe. This guide is not comprehensive and is only intended to facilitate research by those interested in training best suited to their goals.
Courses are classified by major themes. For each course some elements of content are provided along with a link to a website with more information.
