In 2006, 116 EISMV students who graduated between 2001 and 2005 and represent 70% of related classes responded to a survey. This study has highlighted a relatively good employability of EISMV graduates.
Evolution of EISMV graduates employability

The first year after graduation is, for two thirds of the graduates, an orientation phase during which they perform internships, look for work or take additional training. The following years see the employability rate increase steadily from 42% in first year to 64% in the second, 73% in the third, 77% in the fourth and 93% after 5 years.
Distribution of EISMV graduates by areas.

Graduates of EISMV work in various fields. The two main areas of activity are general public veterinarian services and clinic or private practice. Then come education, trade in veterinary medicines and specialised civil service activities (food hygiene, fisheries sector).
