The Breeding Trade Observatory is designed to measure changes in skill sets, promote the employability of graduates and to manage information on the development of animal production sectors in order to:
- take into account the relationship between training / qualification / employment
- create a directory of African vetspecialists and collect statistics on changes in the insertion rate of veterinary graduates in member states (better integration of graduates) in order develop skills exchanges
- collect statistical data on livestock trends, to develop production and health indicators
- promote professional farmers’ organisations to strengthen their capacities
