Definition of AEVD
AEVD is a non-profit, secular and apolitical organisation which aims to:
- improve living and studying conditions
- collect and disseminate information regarding working conditions in Africa
- develop sub-regional cooperation
- network with other veterinary schools worldwide
To this end, AEVD :
- Groups students so they can know each other, understand and strengthen the links between them
- Raises the school’s profile and contributes to its influence;
- Maintains relationships with any person or organisation, public or private, with an interest in veterinary science
- Protects and safeguards the material and moral interests of its members
AEVD was created Jan 10, 1975 by EISMV students during a Founding General Meeting and was finally recognised by the Ministry of Interior of Senegal on Feb1, (receipt No. 3472/MINT/DAGAT). Year after year, each AEVD incarnation has since performed it duties well in agreement with its chartes,
